How much do you charge for a website?
Our website package price range depends on how many pages you need, whether you require any additional add-ons and a monthly SEO campaign. Our package builder is ideal for businesses who have never had a website before or require a redesign and boost to their sites SEO.
We’ve created a lot of websites over the years and base our costings around how long it takes on average to create a professional and technically sound website. On offer to you is a bespoke, professional business website for a low upfront deposit followed by an affordable monthly fee. Simply choose the number of pages you think you’ll need based on your businesses services. Then add any other things you might need like a new logo, content writing or professional photography.
If there’s an add-on that you can’t see in the builder, don’t worry as we can discuss and implement anything you want during the development phase.
What's included in the monthly payment?
Every website needs maintenance, kept secure and up-to-date. Whilst there are other agencies who will charge additional fees for things like content edits, support, technical help, CMS upgrades, etc, we don’t.
All the necessary elements and maintenance your website will need to keep it working as it should is included and at no additional charge.
Your monthly plan includes:
- Up to 2 hours of edits done for you (existing content changes, text, add photos etc).
- Domain renewal.
- Hosting – dedicated server for fast loading content. No caps on quota or email.
- SSL Comodo Security Certificate.
- Daily Backups.
- CMS quarterly upgrades/security patches.
- Site and technical support (help setting up email, making edits within your CMS etc).

Why are you so expensive?
The design and development process we use to build your website takes a certain amount of time and a lot of planning and research.
As with everything in life you do get what you pay for. There are companies out there happy charging a couple of hundred pounds to knock up a cheap and cheerful website. But, more often than not, those types of sites not only look bad but suffer from lots of errors and issues. A poorly constructed website will have no chance of success. The cost of a ‘cheap’ website may seem more appealing, to begin with, until you realise it’s not bringing in any customers. Then you’ll have to waste more money and precious time getting your site redesigned.

How do we communicate?
Before we begin working together, we’ll usually have an initial chat over the phone. Once we get started, most clients communication takes place over email but we can call you whenever you like.
Once we’ve launched your brand new website we will book in your 30 minute to 1-hour digital training session. This part is optional but good for you to get a grip on how to manage your site. If you’re not comfortable making changes yourself, let us do them for you – it’s not going to cost you anything extra.
What if I don’t like the design?
This is a very rare occurrence with clients we’ve worked with.
Before we build your new website, we carry out a lot of research to ensure that we meet and exceed your design expectations.
You’ll see our initial designs first to get a feel for how your site is going to look and function before we create every page. This is your opportunity to provide feedback and if you really don’t like it, we change it until you like it!
Who hosts my website?
Normally when we build a website we will manage the hosting. But, you do have the option of hosting yourself or with another provider. We would always recommend though that you host with us so we can support you with any issues.
We use the same hosting company for our own website and for all our clients.
Your website hosting comes with unlimited caps on everything, from quota to the number of email accounts, daily backup and guaranteed uptime. The company we use is UKFAST, who is an enterprise hosting services provider based in Manchester, UK.
Can I add more pages myself?
You certainly can. You can have an unlimited number of pages. We will usually save the pre-designed content pages we created for you so you can easily clone and edit content. This makes creating new pages a breeze and saves you time rather than starting from scratch.
We are always on hand to help you out with anything, and as our client, you receive top priority support.
How do we change over my old site to new?
If you already have a website, that’s great! We will build your new website on our staging server whilst your other website is still live. Once we’re ready to go live and you’re happy with the new site we will migrate the old site and install the new one.
It can take as little as 10 minutes for the new website to be set up on your domain. You shouldn’t notice any drops with Analytical data and we’ll take care of the 301 redirects so your rankings don’t drop. You’ll notice a boost, not the other way around!
Will my website be mobile friendly?
As standard, we design with a ‘mobile-first’ approach. Your website will be fully responsive and will look great on all devices.
More and more people are using their mobile phones to search for your services so we make sure your content flows beautifully and loads fast.
Do you do SEO for my website?
During the pre-launch stage, we’ll make sure your website is technically sound on every level. That means it will have no errors that could hinder any future SEO efforts. Our ultimate business package offers monthly SEO and is the best way to have a website that reaches more customers.
It’s important to remember that SEO is an ongoing commitment and requires continuous work. However, all our plans provide you with the best start. What’s more, you can speed up your sites SEO by choosing our SEO Boost Pack and help your site get found faster. This add-on comes free if you choose our monthly SEO plan.

How long will it take to build my website?
It takes approximately 2 – 4 weeks to build a 5 to 20-page website from start to finish if we have all the information.

Can I cancel at any time?
Your plan will run for a minimum of twelve months from the date you signed up. If for whatever reason, after this time you’re unhappy with our service, you can migrate your website and domain to another provider. We are one of only a few digital agencies that give the client full intellectual property rights. Your website is yours to keep and belongs to you.

What will you need from me?
This really depends on what type of business you have. We’ll be able to discuss this during our initial call before we start work on your new website. Some examples of what you might send are …

- Staff and department profiles.
- Media, sound clips and videos etc.
- Login credentials to your existing website.
Some of the above might already exist on your site if you already have one. In this instance, we’ll transfer over any content you wish to your new site and present it more professionally.
Do you offer a payment schedule?
We’ve structured our pricing and packages to suit most business types and budgets. All we ask for upfront online is an initial 20% payment to get the project booked in. 30% after we’ve confirmed your order and the remaining 50% when you’re 100% happy after the site has launched.
With our affordable monthly payment plan, you’re able to have a professional bespoke website at a much lower initial cost than paying for it upfront. You’ll also have the peace of mind your site is being looked after and maintained to ensure optimum performance.
When you sign up via our package builder you have the option to pay 20% right away or sort it with us later. We can accept payment online, via BACS or cheque.
Can you do edits for me?
Yes! We’d be more than happy to update your site for you whilst you can get on with running your business. Included in your monthly plan is up to 2 hours of content support and we will do any changes for you, at no extra cost.
Can I update the website?
Your website will be built using a CMS system such as the popular WordPress platform. We’ll choose the most suitable CMS depending on the project type and you’ll have the facility to update the website yourself.
We will make sure you know how to make edits but remember, we are always on hand to help and support you along your learning journey. Our support does not stop there after the site is launched.
Will you write the text for me?
It depends if our Content Writing service is selected in the package builder. But don’t worry if you missed it, we can add it on after your order. We have specialist copywriters who will create engaging content for your website so you don’t have to. One less thing to have to worry about!
With this service, we’ll learn as much as we can about your business to create copy that encourages customers to get in touch.
Who will own the domain?
You will own any domains linked to your account. If you don’t already have a domain we can register a domain in your name and address so it belongs to you. This means you have ultimate control over ownership with Nominet (for UK customers).
Do you set up my social pages, Facebook etc?
Social platforms require a personal account to create a business page. If you need help setting them up we can help with that. We’ll link your website to these and add live feeds and share buttons.
It can take up a lot of your time to manage business social pages effectively. So why not choose our monthly add-on Social Media Management for Facebook and Twitter and let us handle your pages. We create a bespoke marketing strategy for your business, post regularly on your behalf and encourage users to engage with your pages.
